1. Application

The QNZ-A series DC contactors are designed for use in inverters, soft starters, or other similar DC-20 load applications, serving as bypass isolation switches.

 Product Compliance Standards: IEC/EN 60947-4-1, GB/T 14048.4

  • Altitude: For installation altitudes exceeding 2000 meters, derate by 5% for every 1000-meter increase. Maximum allowable altitude is 5000 meters.

  • Vibration: Sinusoidal sweep vibration at the mounting point: 5–150Hz (Amplitude: 25/f for 5–20Hz; 250/f² for 20–150Hz).

  • Shock Acceleration: 30 m/s².

  • Pollution Degree: Degree 3.

9. Precautions for Use

◆ The product coil is non-polarized. The main circuit with magnetic blowout is polarized (L1 is positive, L2 is negative); without magnetic blowout, it is non-polarized. The positive and negative terminals must not be reversed, as reversal can affect the load-breaking life.

◆ When using more than one connection wire at the power terminal, ensure the main power conductor is closest to the contactor's main circuit connection point, with smaller current wires on top, followed by the washer, spring washer, and nut. Incorrect connection order or loose connections can cause severe overheating and melt the cable insulation.

◆ The tightening torque for screws and bolts used with the contactor should be controlled within the specified ranges below (see table).

M3 Screw: 0.5~0.8 N.m
