Nanjing Quanning Electric Selected as a 2020 Nanjing Gazelle Enterprise

 On April 29, 2020, the "2020 Nanjing Gazelle and Unicorn Enterprise Release Conference and High-Growth Enterprise Cultivation Promotion Meeting," hosted by the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Nanjing Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Nanjing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Nanjing Local Financial Supervision Bureau, and the Jiangbei New Area Management Committee, was held in Nanjing. At this conference, Quanning Electric was successfully selected as a 2020 Nanjing Gazelle Enterprise.         A "Gazelle Enterprise" refers to a small or medium-sized enterprise that has successfully passed the initial "death valley" stage of startup and entered a period of rapid growth, supported by technological innovation or business model innovation. The recognition primarily targets enterprises in industries aligned with national and provincial strategic emerging sectors, covering emerging industries, next-generation information technology (including big data, IoT and cloud computing, high-end software, the internet), biological health, artificial intelligence, fintech, energy conservation, environmental protection, and consumer upgrading, among other fields. According to the Silicon Valley definition, a "Gazelle Enterprise" is a high-growth company sharing characteristics with gazelles—small in size but fast-running and high-jumping. These enterprises can easily achieve annual growth rates doubling, increasing tenfold, a hundredfold, or even a thousandfold, and can rapidly achieve an IPO. The number of gazelle enterprises in a region indicates its level of innovation vitality and pace of development.         In 2020, Nanjing added 179 new gazelle enterprises, bringing the total to 312—more than double the number from the previous year. Han Liming, Deputy Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Committee and Mayor of Nanjing, presented plaques to the newly recognized gazelle enterprises and awarded prizes to outstanding parks and carriers for their cultivation efforts. Among the 312 gazelle enterprises in Nanjing in 2020, 234 were manufacturing companies, accounting for 75% of the total, primarily concentrated in Nanjing's "4+4+1" leading industrial fields.
