EV charging industry

In charging piles, AC contactors and DC contactors are used in different locations and serve distinct functions.

- AC Contactors: Primarily used at the front end of DC charging pile charging modules. During charging, the AC contactor engages first to power the charging module, connecting or disconnecting the circuit between the AC power supply and the charging module.  

- DC Contactors: Located at the rear end of DC charging pile charging modules and inside electric vehicles. They control the switching of DC charging current, enabling the transfer of electrical energy from the charging pile to the EV battery.
